The Frick Collection: A Tour

The Frick Collection: A Tour

This book presents a selection of the most important works in The Frick Collection, as well as some remarkable interiors that house them. Each work is presented in color and accompanied by a succinct commentary, written in conversational tone. The text is a transcription to the acoustic guide available to the visitors to The Collection through our free ArtPhone. Each commentary provides key art historical information and a fresh interpretive viewpoint. In addition, a short biography is provided on each artist, or additional information on

the historical background, and elements of architecture and decoration.

Text by Edgar Munhall, with Susan Grace Galassi, Ashley Thomas and the Acoustiguide Corporation staff.

The Frick Collection, New York, in association with Scala Publishers, London, 1998, 1999. Softcover, 128 pages, 134 color illustrations.
