On February 24, 2005, the Young Fellows of The Frick Collection hosted their sixth annual Winter Ball.
Joining the leadership of the event was a new group of Chairmen: Lauren Bush, Lauren Davis, Tinsley Mortimer, Emilia Fanjul Pfeifler and Elisabeth Saint-Amand, who were welcomed by Honorary Chairmen Marina Rust Connor, Lauren du Pont, Nathalie Gerschel Kaplan, Martha Loring, and Aerin Lauder Zinterhofer.
The Vice-Chairs were Lisa Gorrivan, Robert Lindgren, and Catherine Sitrick Shepard.“A Dance in the Golden Age” drew its inspiration from the great Old Masters in the Collection, specifically Vermeer and Rembrandt.
The theme of this year’s party was reflected in the dress code, “Black Tie, Fur, and 17th-Century Chic,” and many guests were suitably attired in elegant creations by fashion designer J. Mendel and jewelry designed by David Yurman, two of the three co-chairs for the evening (First Republic Bank was the third co-sponsor).
Thornwillow Press and Moët & Chandon also contributed generously toward the evening. |
