Past trips have included visits to Châteaux of the Loire Valley, France, to Madrid and Bordeaux in connection with the exhibition Goya’s Last
Works
, to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to visit the birthplace of Henry Clay Frick, to Dresden, Berlin, and Baden-Baden, Germany, to Versailles for The Frick Collection and French Heritage Society Seminars in French Architecture and Decorative Arts, to Italy to explore the world of the Veneto and the North Italian Courts, and to California to visit museums and private collections that parallel or were inspired by the collecting style and philanthropy of Henry Clay Frick.
